Web Design

Nowadays a website is as much part of your start-up material as stationery, so if you want to ensure you convey the right image from the start, talk to us about yours.

Xpress Websites

Our start up websites, ideal for small businesses and start ups, are only £995 + VAT. All of our websites include free hosting for the first year and a content managed ‘back end’ to enable you to update your content when you want to. You’ll be pleased to know we provide instructions as an aide memoire, should you need it.

If you have more elaborate website requirements including data capture, enquiry forms, e-commerce and Web 2.0 sites, our developers are fluent in all the latest applications and ensure all sites are built in the most search engine friendly way, adhering to W3C requirements.

Website Creation

We start by understanding your website objectives. We want to make sure that the end result has a purpose rather than just being pretty! We provide a structured overview of the site, highlighting where each page will appear and what the content will be. Then we progress to the look and feel of the site, providing a visual of the design and navigation. We can copy write the content for you if you like and provide imagery, but you can provide this if you would rather.

Once we have your approval on the functional specification, structure, design and copy, we complete the site and then go live. But it doesn’t stop there. We recommend ongoing updates to the site to help your search engine optimisation, to ensure you are ‘seen’ and to keep the content fresh and interesting.

See our search engine optimisation page re: ensuring you are found on search engines.

E-marketing

For many businesses e-marketing is rapidly becoming their most important marketing activity. Within the initial build of any of our sites, we ensure the site is built in a search engine friendly way. However, additional fresh content, always helps the organic search rankings. Additional activity, such as AdWords and other online activity from user groups on social networking sites, online advertising and links, can all help enhance your rankings and make it easier for people to find you. First we need to understand what you want to achieve and then provide a course of action to help to achieve it.

E-newsletters

As a great way of keeping your name ‘front of mind’ and informing existing and prospective clients of any special offers, discounts, new stock, forthcoming events, changes within the industry or your business, e-newsletters are a great way of keeping in touch. These need to be legally compliant too, so if you need advice on how to set these up and stay within the law, please get in touch. We are members of the Data Register, to ensure any data you provide to us is handled in the appropriate confidential way and not used for our own purposes or anyone else’s.

Tracking

The beauty of online activity is that it is easier to track activity than with traditional methods; whether that includes visits to websites, ‘open rates’ of e-newsletters or the level of ‘unsubscribes’ or registrations. It’s also now easier to understand what is working and what isn’t, allowing you to adjust your marketing activity accordingly.
